SECURITY HOLD
A Hold will be placed on ALL Credit Cards for an estimated amount which will be released when contract is closed and final bill is settled.
Luxury rentals are subjected up to $5000.00 hold.

RENT A CAR WITH DEBIT CARD
A CUSTMER WHO WANTS TO USE DEBIT CARDS FOR THE RENTAL,THE REQUIREMENTS ARE:
NYS DRIVER LICENCE
TWO CURRENT UTILITY BILLS WITH THE NAME OF THE RENTER. $1,OOO SECURITY HOLD , PLUS THE COST OF THE RENTAL.

DRIVERS LICENSE RESTRICTION
If the address on your license contain a PO box , a recent utility bill with your home address is required.
if you hold a Out of State license, you must supply contact information and you must use credit card as a form of payment.

HOLDING VEHICLES
Prestige Car Rental will hold a confirmed vehicle for a period of half an hour after the scheduled pick up time.In the event of a delay past half an hour please call the office :

DRIVING AREA RESTRICTION
We allow our vehicles to be driven anywhere within NY , NJ and CT.Should you desire to travel outside the states, please get approval from the branch manager.

INSURANCE POLICIES AND SURCHARGE
The following changes to the law, effective February 24 2003 will apply:

*In accordance with the provisions of the statute, car rental companies may hold authorized car rental drivers liable for the actual demage to , or loss of, a rental vehicle, up to the full value of the vehicle.


*Car rental companies will be permitted by the NY state law to offer for a daily fee OPTIONAL Collision Damadge Waiver ( known as LDW ) vehicle protection.

GAS / REFUELING
Our rental rates do not include the gasoline. in order to maintain our low car rates , we request that customers refill prior to their return.Refueling cost charges will be applied.

Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 18
Age 18 to 20 - Surcharge applies $70 a day
Age 21 to 23 - Surcharge applies $30 a day
Age 24 to 24 - Surcharge applies $20 a day

Additional Drivers
2 additional drivers permitted an additional chargeof $ 4.00 applies per day(per additional driver)
Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 18
Each and all additional driver under the age of 25 are subjected to Underage fee charges.
